If someone had told me 20 years ago that the endocrine system, with its hormones, could be controlled mentally, I would not have believed in that. However, these days the application of PSR for hormonal enhancement works better than for anything else.

There are two reasons for this; it is easy, and it works for everyone, even those with a minimal level of PSR training.

It is easy because of direct access to ‘the chief’ of the endocrine system, the pituitary gland. This gland governs all other glands while also producing hormones itself and is a part of the so-called limbic-hypothalamic system.

This system serves as a mediator between mind and body. It activates the endocrine and immune system in response not only to what is going on outside and inside our body, but also in our head, i.e. our words and images. If you already did the experiment with the lemon described in ‘PSR Basis’, you activated this system by the word ‘lemon’ when you started salivating.

In the same way, you may stimulate your glands to produce hormones. Close your eyes and start thinking about a life threatening situation you experienced in your past. If you did not have such a situation, create some ‘horrible scenario’ in your imagination. After a few minutes of thinking about these horrors, you may notice some physiological changes – increased heartbeats and breathing, muscle tension, maybe, sweating, etc. The more vivid images are in your head, the stronger the bodily changes are accordingly.

Doing this, you stimulated the production of adrenalin that caused all these changes in your body.

Are you a dedicated fan of any favorite sports team? If yes, close your eyes, and recall the game when your team was losing. See the opposing team beating your favorite one. Keep thinking about this unpleasant situation. After a few minutes you may start experiencing aggression caused by an increased level of testosterone.

Research has shown that simply watching a sports game can raise testosterone levels in fans, causing them to become very aggressive and sometimes get into fights.

The endocrine glands produce hormones daily according to our genetic make-up. Their level  is under control of a so called homeostatic negative feedback control mechanism. When the level of any hormone drops down, pituitary gland receives message about that and notifies the appropriate gland to start producing it.

This is a very general description of hormonal production. In reality, this process is more complicated, but for our purposes, we do not need all these complications and big words.

Genetic Make-Up and Hormonal Stimulation

Everyone of us has own unique chemical balance of various hormones. We do not need to do anything to get our daily portion of the hormones. What if we want more or less of a hormone? Is it possible to rewrite the genetic prescription?

In reality, we rewrite the prescription on daily basis. A stressful lifestyle, unbalanced diet, substance abuse, sleep deprivation, these and other factors change our genetic program of hormonal secretion. As a result, millions of people suffer from diabetes, impotence, obesity, and other modern health problems.

They did not have in their genetic prescription a program to become overweight or diabetic in their 20’s or earlier. They ‘succeeded’ with changing their genetic hormonal prescription.

Unfortunately, we are aware of and actively doing things that cause negative changes, and know very little about making positive changes. A balanced diet, physical exercising, and an appropriate lifestyle will contribute to maintaining a prescribed hormonal level for a longer period of life. However, maintenance is not increase.

Is it possible to change our genetic make-up to increase the hormonal level? Yes, it is. Everyone of us is born with genetically prescribed muscles mass. If we start exercising, we rewrite the prescription. The same can be said about the endocrine system.

How to exercise the hormonal glands? The endocrine system is not like a skeletal-muscular system. There are no gyms or equipment for this type of exercising. All glands reside deeply in our body, except the testicles. Even if you start squeezing them, you will not get more testosterone than they usually produce; that is not the way they work.

One of the ways to increase and not just to maintain, the natural hormonal level, is mental training.

I already showed you how to activate adrenalin and testosterone by imagination. However, this way is not sufficient for a significant and stable increase of a hormonal level.

PSR successfully copes with these shortcomings of imagination. Being equipped with special verbal commands that are supported by an unconditioned belief and positive emotions, PSR procedure easily triggers the hypothalamic-limbic-pituitary-glands chain. As a result, we may increase hormonal level.

Application of PSR for Hormonal Enhancement

The idea of hormonal enhancement was inspired by my mentor of my dissertation, Leonid Grimak, a Colonel of Medical Service, and a Doctor of Medical and Psychological Sciences.

He worked for the Institute of Aviation and Space Medicine on adaptation to weightlessness during space flights. Even though he did not directly indicate hormonal enhancement, he proved that a human organism could be completely recovered from the full physical exhaustion in a matter of minutes under special conditions.

I decided to check the idea, believing that testosterone played the major role in this recovery. However, now I know that physical recovery depends on many other factors as well.

Some male students from psychology class that actively worked out were trained based on this method of testosterone enhancement for removal of exhaustion, and the results were amazing.

The trainees reported that they did not feel exhaustion, soreness, and tiredness after their workout after applying PSR. One of them, an 18-year-old student, reported gaining 18 lbs. of muscle mass in a month and a half only through applying this mental skill in his daily workout.

To test the possible effect of testosterone stimulation on physical performance, I conducted experiments that included training in PSR followed by activities that might cause physical exhaustion of a group of muscles - push-ups, squats against a wall, and a hand dynamometer squeeze.

Every trainee was able not only to refresh his muscles in 2-3 minutes, but also showed better results in the next two attempts, and sometimes even in the third attempt.

The procedure was as follows:

1. Training in PSR for testosterone stimulation.
2. Doing push-ups (squeezing a hand dynamometer, holding the squat against the wall) as much as possible.
3. Removing soreness, exhaustion and getting more physical power by testosterone stimulation again.
4. Doing push-ups (squeezing the hand dynamometer, holding the squat against the wall) as much as possible again.
5. Removing soreness, exhaustion and getting more physical power by testosterone stimulation again.
6. Doing push-ups (squeezing the hand dynamometer, holding the squat against the wall) as much as possible again.

Those, who applied PSR for physical performance, reported rapid muscle growth, sensations, and symptoms that are indications that the idea of mental hormonal stimulation works successfully. Every trainee experienced similar subjective sensations in their testicles:  tingling, itching, warmth, and contractions. Some experienced warmth spreading from their testicles out and into the entire body, aggressiveness and other sensations and feelings.

Further evidence of possible mental testosterone enhancement relates to a specific side effect two of my trainees reported – an ache in their testicles after intercourse.

One basketball player, after applying testosterone stimulation multiple times on the same day for his physical training, experienced an intense ache in his testicles after ejaculation. The ache lasted for almost three days until it was removed with a session on the phone.

Another trainee who applied the mental skill for his routine workout also experienced a less intense ache for 3-4 hours after having sex. This problem has since been resolved, and initial PSR training modified, and there have not been any further occurrences of this side effect.

A different trainee reported another side effect. While training him in hormonal stimulation, and measuring his hand muscle power with the hand dynamometer, he started experiencing painful sensations in the muscles around his nipples. Interestingly, he got those sensations after squeezing the dynamometer beyond the 30-point scale, at about the 36-38 psi mark, even though he was not an athletic guy at all and his initial result was just 20 psi.

Aside from evidence of possible mental effects on the endocrine system, I would like to focus on two cases not related to physical performance.

One woman became pregnant about two weeks after applying estrogen and growth hormone stimulation for breast enlargement. Interestingly, she had been unable to conceive during the previous 7 years, and her doctor told her she had some sort of infertility that happened to some women after giving birth to one child (she had one boy at that time). More about that read here.

The second interesting case happened to my 15-year-old neighbor’s son. On that day, he came to me with a pale face and cold sweats asking for something sweet to eat because he felt weak and had a headache. He told me he had hypoglycemia and needed some carbohydrates to increase his blood sugar level.

When I was ready to give him some chocolate, I told him to normalize his insulin and the blood sugar level by focusing on his pancreas. It took just one-two minutes to have all these symptoms gone; he returned to a normal state without carbohydrates.

I had already trained him in a simple version of PSR previously, for overcoming sleeplessness, improving his spelling and academics in general, passing multiple-choices tests, clearing his face of acne, overcoming his allergy to pollen, and eliminating his ADHD. It may sound too good to be true, but I will tell you even more - most of these problems were fixed in just a couple of minutes.

Since that time, he has never experienced symptoms of hypoglycemia, as he frequently used to before. In addition, I noticed he stopped craving sweet stuff; before the incident, while visiting me, he was always asking me for Russian candies. These days, he may see the candies on my kitchen table and does not display any interest in them.

I acknowledge that all this empirical data may serve as proof of mental hormonal enhancement. However, the best proof would be appropriate medical test to check hormonal levels before and after PSR application. Hopefully, some day I will do that. Despite the lack of the tests, my trainees benefit from PSR application for muscle and body growth, and in other areas for which hormonal enhancement is important.

Mental Hormonal Stimulation vs. Anabolic Steroids

These days there is much debate about anabolic steroids. Are they harmful? Are they helpful? Which steroids are good, which are not good? Do we need to allow anabolic steroid use in sports or not? What about teens and steroids? The list of the debates on steroids is endless.

I am not a steroid guru at all, but still have a bit of common sense. I see at least two problems with anabolic steroid use.

The first one is steroid overdose. Since any steroid is not a soda, you will not feel whether you are full or not. An excessive amount will turn against you immediately, damaging your entire endocrine system and internal organs. Your finely tuned mechanism of natural hormonal control shuts down. Do you need that?

Applying mental hormonal stimulation, you increase hormonal level in a natural way following all the rules of your endocrine system. You will never overdose yourself but will condition your entire body to be used to a higher level gradually, and to produce it accordingly.

Genetically, we have the lowest and highest hormonal level our body is capable of managing. Usually, healthy people are balancing around the normal level, but you can achieve higher and higher levels without damage. We do not know what the highest level is, but you body knows when to shut down your natural hormonal production.

Look at another problem with steroids. Let us assume you decided to use an artificial arm instead of your healthy normally functioning one. Your fake arm does much more than your real arm. But, in a few months, you decided to start using your natural arm again. Can you guess what will happen to it? It does not work as it used to. It will take time to have it back in a workable state, if that is even still possible.

The same and even worse happens with our glands. If you take an anabolic steroid that is a substitute, testosterone for example, your testicles just shut down and all destructive processes in them and in other glands start. One result of this, that you will be able to observe, is your shrunk balls. It may take time to have the glands recovered, if it is still possible. Sometimes these bad processes go so far, that they become irreversible. The only way is to continue use of the steroid for the rest of your life.

Drug addiction works on the same principle. Common knowledge is that our body produces all known and unknown drugs necessary for normal daily functioning. This is the real dream drug dealer machine, especially our brain. As soon as we start taking the drugs, artificial substitutes for our natural chemicals, our body may stop producing them. The situation may be even worse than with anabolic steroids.  Since the control mechanism of some drug production is also destroyed, our body may want higher and higher doses until the entire organism is shut down forever, without recovery, of course.

To be healthy and in shape, our body should work all the time. We are potentially capable of increasing or decreasing any chemical in our body without external supplements. One of the possible ways is a proper communication between our mind and body.
